Flickr, Reddit, Digg, Newsvine

I signed up to use Flickr and posted a few pictures of myself on there. I was impressed by how many people use Flickr to share their photos with each other. Most of the photos looked like they were taken by professionals. They were very creative and used a lot of interesting photography techniques. I think it’s a good site for sharing photos that people take as a hobby or as a profession.
I also signed up to use Digg, which was unique in their sign-up format because it seemed like they were using humor to attract users. I believe it’s just a blogging site where you can share your favorite articles or video clips. It looks like a fun site. I added Arianna as a friend and gave her a “shout.”
Reddit is also a similar site, and it looks like people shared a bunch of information that was pertinent to the today’s day and age. I explored this site a little bit and found that it was pretty interactive and fun.
Newsvine was different in that it was more of a news site, with information about the election and a “cover story” on the first page. It kind of reminded me of the huffingtonpost.com.
